ABOUT

WHAT:

Immanuel Sound Academy (I.M. SOUND) is a founder-led, mission-driven California LLC, who partners with schools and youth programs to deliver modern, project-based music education - where students collaborate, record, and finish real projects using industry level tools; moving students from interest to impact; while understanding the management and administration of their creative and intellectual property.

WHO:

The founder of Immanuel Sound Academy is a practicing educator and musician/singer/writer/emcee, Cedric Ingram Jr. Over the course of 10 years, Cedric has built a plethora of experience in education starting out as an instructional aide, elementary PE teacher, middle school football coach, in-house substitute, math intervention specialist, home-school tutor, middle/high school youth education specialist, guidance counselor, AND a site coordinator for high school, after school programming.

Simultaneously, Cedric has curated a career dawning an alter ego as a musical artist. Over the same 10 years (plus 4 more), Cedric has used the moniker Clay Dub to create a musical footprint.  From collaborations with Jadakiss & The LOX, Anthony Hamilton; to placements on HBOMax, ESPN First Take, to residencies at Hotel Ziggy & The MOXY Hotel, Cedric has used the Clay Dub persona to establish a creative identity and brand musically.

WHERE:

I.M. SOUND easily integrates execution of our program via portable equipment on any campus. classroom, teen center, or youth organization.  Our pilot launched at Boys Academic Leadership Academy via Los Angeles Conservation Corps Fall of  2025.  Currently  we are contracted with our flagship partner Century Community Charter School for the inagural Fall 2026 season. Summer intensives are being disussed with the City of Torrance Cultural Arts Center, as well as other partnerships.

WHEN:

Immanuel Sound Academy runs 8 to 10-week cohorts that repeat year around with the exception of summer. In the summer depending on our partnerships, we launch intensives that are shorter, more concentrated derivatives of the full program.

WHY:

Students love music - but often lack the access to modern tools, real instruction, and a clear understanding of how creative work becomes finished projects. Many schools and after-school programs want to offer music education but lack: updated production resources, industry relevant instruction, project based outcomes.

As a result, creative potential goes untapped. I.M. SOUND ensures students don't just learn about music - they make it; collaborating, recording, revising, and finishing real projects while learning:  songwriting, IP basics, tech literacy, how the industry really works.

At Immanuel Sound Academy, we empower students to stay;  I.M. SOUND
